About

Lynn Mancel is a Belgian singer and actress born on the 11th of October, 1996.

From an early age Lynn discovered her passion for singing and acting. At 13 years of age, she joined the Studio 100 choir and developed her skills towards a more professional level. Realising she could not envision herself doing anything else, she decided to audition for “7Mus”, a preparatory year for musical theatre, at “De! Kunsthumaniora” in Antwerp.

After finishing the preparatory year, Lynn entered the music theatre course at Codarts University of the Performing Arts in Rotterdam, from which she graduated in 2019. During her studies, in 2017, she went on an exchange program and studied musical theatre at the University of West London.

In the last year of her studies, she auditioned for many productions and was offered a job at Disney’s “The Lion King” as a cover Nala and singer ensemble at the Circustheatre in Scheveningen.

Continuing her musical journey, Lynn joined the cast of “Mamma Mia!” at the Beatrix theatre in Utrecht, portraying the part of Lisa.

The Coronavirus turned our world upside down but especially the cultural industry was hit hard. Finally, one-and-a-half year later, Lynn can gladly and proudly announce that she will be joining the cast of “TINA, Das Tina Turner Musical”, in the Operettenhaus theatre in Hamburg as a swing.

In September 2022 Lynn joined the French cast of Disney’s “Le Roi Lion” at the Mogador theatre in Paris, as cover Nala and a singer swing.

After that, and currently still playing, she got cast in the new Studio 100 musical “Red Star Line” at the Pop-Up theatre in Puurs. She can be seen in the ensemble with her feature as Follies singer. She also covers the part of Louise and speakeasy singer.

Lastly, Lynn can be heard as the Flemish/Dutch voice of Ariel in the new live-action remake of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”. Now to be seen in movie theatres from the 24th of May. She can also be heard on the original Dutch Spotify album, featuring all the songs from the movie. A link to this can be found on the Spotify icon on the home page.
